A 26+2 Hatha inspired yoga practice
26+2, commonly known as “Hot Yoga”, is a Hatha style yoga practice with a set sequence. Consisting of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises, class is practiced in a heated room. This slow moving series with concentrated focus on the breath and alignment repeat poses twice with longer holds, allowing the practitioner to build balance between strength and flexibility. With a combination of standing and floor poses this class provides a wide range to work the body inside and out.
Don’t let the temperature intimidate you! The room will be heated to 85°. And because 26+2 is a Hatha style class, it can be practiced in a non-heated room as well, so there is also an option to join us Virtually (via Zoom) from your home.
This all levels class will take a detailed approach to breath work, postures and alignment. Come and experience what this series has to offer you.
Choose to participate IRL or Virtually:
- Option 1 – IRL (In Real Life!) at dimitraYOGA, Lewes, located at 17437 Ocean One Plaza, Suite 1.
- Option 2 – Virtual via Zoom. In this case, a link will be sent to your email about 30 minutes before the workshop begins. You will be able to see and hear the instructor, but you will not be able to talk to her during the class. *If this day/ time doesn’t work into your schedule, you can still participate because everyone who signs up for the virtual option will receive a recording of the session, allowing you to watch it when you have time later that day or the next!
