“The Four Pillars of Brain Longevity and Alzheimer’s Prevention” 4 part series

Are you forgetting things? Would you like some guidance regarding healthy eating? Are you a caregiver? Do you think you can’t meditate? Are you feeling stressed and lonely? Would you like to improve your overall life quality and well-being?

This healthy aging series will be led Leslie Slan and Cathy Brown. Leslie is a Rehoboth resident and Alzheimer’s Research and Prevention Foundation’s (ARPF) certified Brain Longevity Specialist. Cathy Brown is a 500 hour Registered certified yoga instructor at Dimitra YOGA.

ARPF is dedicated to the prevention of Alzheimer’s by funding integrative medicine research and providing educational outreach and memory screenings. They have published 30 research papers on lifestyle based approaches that can improve your brain health even as we age.

The workshop is a research-based program on yoga and integrative therapies for brain health and healthy aging. It will will include practical everyday strategies, yoga practice, pranayama and meditation as ways to keep your mind healthy. Research has shown that the earlier you begin to make life quality changes, the better your chances of prevention.

 

Sundays: Oct 6, Oct 27, Nov 3 & Nov 10

Each week will have a new focus. Participants can attend individual sessions or all four.

Investment:
