THE LOWER CHAKRAS: COURAGE, CREATIVITY, POWER and LOVE

 

Discover the subtle energies within our bodies and how these pathways work to allow our life force, our vital energy to flow through our bodies. We will explore the deeper, more grounded spirals of energy through a Yin Yoga practice.

Yin Yoga targets and stimulates the fascial connective tissues, the more interior and supportive structures of the body. Through holding the deeply nourishing postures, we have an opportunity to move inside with the mentality of an observer, seeing what we may find.

We will explore stimulating the flow of energy through breath and pressure, enabling health, balance, increased ability to focus and receptivity to new ideas. Beginning with the most earthly chakra, courage and the physical body, the second chakra, the quality of water, our emotional realm and the fire of mastering our own energy the third chakra. We will end with air, this is the breath of the heart where all chakras are united.

Lisa will end with a gentle, imaginative guided meditation of Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra is a state of conscious deep sleep and extreme relaxation; promoting healing, harmony, peace and spiritual exploration.
