This month’s focus: Lateral Hip Muscles
When hip flexors and rotators become tight, muscles in this area become weak, which negatively affects our posture and stability in the spine. Stretching these muscles helps to:
- relieve tension
- improve range of motion
- build strength
- improve circulation
- avoid hip and back pain
Join us for a two hour workshop, lead by our very own Dimitra Kotanides! She will show you how to use self myofascial release as an effective tool for reducing pain and enhancing range of motion. You’ll also learn how to incorporate hip opener poses into your yoga routine. All levels welcome! Open to members and non-members.
